SENIOR CLIENT CONTACT (BOOKINGS TEAM)

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Client Contact to join our Bookings Team at Emmyland. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in a bookings department at a UK rental house, having worked as a Senior Client Contact or Account Handler for at least one year.

This is a client-facing role for a charismatic, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is ready to take on significant responsibilities. You’ll manage all stages of the client journey, from initial equipment inquiries, handling all aspects of the job whilst it is out right the way through to overseeing the smooth return of the kit. Your passion for cinematography—both its creative and technical aspects—will shine as you work closely with clients to curate bespoke equipment packages that fit their vision and budget.

You’ll be a quick thinker, an excellent communicator, and a problem-solver who excels under pressure. Joining our growing business, you’ll take pride in being a key member of the team and contributing to our mission of redefining the camera rental experience in the UK.

Founded by Emmy Robinson, a Focus Puller and Camera Technician with over 15 years of experience, Emmyland is proud to be the UK’s first female-founded rental house. With roots in the Camera Assisting community, we are built by ACs for ACs, ensuring that cinematographers always have access to the finest, most impeccably prepared equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Producing quotes and booking jobs for new and existing clients.

Managing equipment availability and daily logistics.

Building and nurturing client relationships while identifying new opportunities.

Providing top-tier service and going above and beyond to meet client needs.

Representing Emmyland at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings (including occasional social engagements).

Communicating professionally and personably via phone and email.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Significant experience in a bookings department at a high-end cinema equipment rental house.

Strong technical knowledge of high-end cinematography equipment.

Comprehensive understanding of the UK film and TV rental industry and cinematography trends.

Exceptional organisation and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a personable, charismatic touch.

A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for providing outstanding service.

Proven sales skills and a results-oriented mindset.
